Using Recycled Products Makes Good Cents        by Red Levine

Recycled coarse paper products (towels, tissues and napkins) have been around for quite some time. In the city of Berkeley and other cities around the nation, the use of recycled products is at the top of the list for purchasing preferences. The reasoning; it is politically correct and is good for the environment. In the early days, 100% recycled paper products were available, but at a price.

We needed the technology for the manufacturing of recycled paper to catch up with the increased awareness of recycling. Well guess what? The paper mills have done it. Pricing of recycled paper products is now basically the same as products that are made from virgin pulp. Most of the items now have enough post-consumer recycled content to qualify as 100% post-consumer recycled products.

Some of the products you can purchase are household roll towels, folded towels, toilet tissue, napkins and paper wipers. There are also products available that are natural in color and have not gone through the bleaching process to make them white. These items are just as safe to use as white paper products. The recycled paper has old boxes, newspapers, bags, and lots of other recycled paper that has been used and picked up be recycled. The quality of the recycled products has improved greatly over the last few years.

Who knows, someday this newsletter may end-up as a paper towel.

All of the Twinpak deli containers are microwaveable and very cost effective. The minimum for custom printing is only ten thousand which allows any size customer to obtain the most cost effective advertising existing; which is a custom print showing your pride in the product being packaged.
